ABOUT JOHN

LEADING OTHERS IN BUSINESS AND IN LIFE

Hi, I’m John Lamkin.

I’m a retired VP of Learning and Education, a master certified personal communications coach, an exercise and nutrition guy, and a lifelong student of just about anything. I’m a husband, a father, and a grandfather. Most importantly, I’m a Christian.

My coaching is based on a few simple principals: leading people by understanding how to communicate with them, equipping them with pertinent knowledge and critical thinking skills, and empowering them to make decisions and bring value to the organization.

I believe leadership is a lot like being a good parent. The more people you’re responsible for, the more effort it requires for you to raise them well and help them become productive citizens.

In my career, I’ve been exposed to more learning opportunities than I can count and I’ve been coached by some exceptional people. In turn, I’ve been privileged to lead a vast array of projects, including the development and instruction of a four-year degree program at Liberty University. I’ve taught advanced operations and leadership in conjunction with National Automobile Dealers Association. I’ve done coaching sessions with NASCAR and Xfinity champions. Sometimes I look back at my life and shake my head at the good fortune I’ve had.

I spent a career helping people achieve success. If you’re an individual, a team or an organization looking to get to the next level, contact me and let’s talk.
